Artista – Poetessa Visiva – Fotografa – Video Performer

“Esploro spazi fisici e mentali, tracciando itinerari della percezione tra fenomenologia e poesia della visione.”

La mia ricerca – artistica ed umana – ruota intorno al concetto di spazio di rivela-azione, quel “confine” labile tra dove siamo e dove appariamo. Quella del confine e del limite è una tematica declinata a 360°, spazio di confine come limite ma anche come mutazione e, poiché apparire è prendere forma dal nulla (ad_parére “venire alla luce”), l’apparenza come rivelazione diviene la sola profondità possibile. Nel mio lavoro indago e porto “oltre” le esperienze sensibili, in uno spazio di presenza visibile, lasciando emergere ombre e luci dell’essere, spazi dell’io impervi e sommersi, dove lo spazio dell’azione diviene luogo dell’imprevisto, del “possibile”, quindi del cambiamento. I miei auto ritratti e video performance creano percorsi narrativi e visivi, unendo insieme la parola o il testo poetico all’immagine fotografica e al video; “micro narra azioni” attraverso le quali racconto me stessa, con la presenza del mio corpo ed i suoi movimenti. Campo semantico d’indagine – Il corpo come confine – ma anche – il corpo come mutazione – (muta azione), luogo di raccoglimento e silenzio, punto zero di ogni inizio, il corpo è il “tempio” che racchiude presente e passato, cela indizi e pre – visioni del futuro, conserva memorie individuali e collettive, che si intrecciano o si spezzano. Alla ricerca di un punto di equilibrio e di un precario baricentro, spingo oltre l’incessante ricerca delle possibili trasformazioni, mutazioni sempre in bilico tra linguaggio del corpo e linguaggio verbale, rese sotto forma di confessioni personali – foto monologhi interiori – che ri – affiorano dai ricordi come tracce di memorie, di parti di me soffocate, lasciate, dimenticate. Infatti, nel mio lavoro, affronto sovente il tema della perdita di sé e della rinascita che ne segue, ponendo in relazione diverse tematiche: quella del doppio – come ulteriore stadio di coscienza e conoscenza di sé – e della forma, in comunicazione tra l’intero e le sue parti, nelle sue possibili invo – ed evoluzioni.

Attività di ricerca e sperimentazione

Dal 2009, porto avanti un lavoro di sperimentazione, mediante la contaminazione dei linguaggi espressivi (fotografia – video – poesia) abbracciando quel genere a metà strada tra video arte, poesia e cinema denominato: Video Poetry o Cin(E)-Poetry. Spesso nei miei interventi c’é una rilettura di testi personali o d’archivio, interpretati secondo la tecnica del libero flusso creativo. La poetica si sviluppa in composizioni di “frammenti”, espressi sotto forma di monologhi interiori; ibridazione tra la parola e l’immagine ovvero “foto monologhi interiori“, con l’intento di formulare attraverso l’enunciato, “l’immagine – manifesto” della propria personale visione. Amo definirmi – e sono –  una “video performer” in quanto il lavoro con il video, si realizza attraverso “body – actions” estemporanee, che attingono ad un personale e codificato repertorio gestuale, messo in scena appunto, come insieme di “Atti” (fisici e poetici) che hanno la caratteristica di veri e propri rituali. Il rito e la ritualità, come continua riscrittura del corpo e dell’anima, “alfabeti muti” per descrivere le incessanti trasformazioni dell’essere in divenire. Il dolore dello strappo lacerante che comporta ogni ineluttabile perdita o mutilazione, diviene per l’artista, nella pratica artistica (foto monologo interiore) come nella vita, incarnazione di “Voce” (onomatopea). I filoni espressivi della ricerca artistica ed umana dell’artista sono: “La mutazione” dal significato esteso di trasformazione / metamorfosi, come fenomeno fisico e spirituale – mediato da un linguaggio poetico ed evocativo, che richiama al silenzio e alla meditazione che è “muta azione”; Altro punto cardine della sua poetica; “Il confine” inteso come punto di frattura, spinta, strappo necessario e tensione, alla conoscenza e al superamento di quei limiti, che ogni stadio evolutivo comporta; “Le memorie”, intese come substrato di ogni essere e vissuto, insieme di segni, tracce ed indizi impressi come marchi indelebili dello spirito, i quali affiorano nel corpo. Ogni scatto, poesia o performance, sono concepiti come “frammenti” di sé e della propria storia, “micro narra azioni” come le definisce l’artista e, proprio come un componimento Haiku, restituiscono testi ed immagini evocative, che sono sprazzi di luce ed ombra. Intuizioni. Riverberi.

Ricostruire il passato del futuro

La mia ricerca é un dialogo incessante tra passato e futuro, tra la me che fui per divenire la me che sono ora. Utilizzo il mezzo fotografico e il video per indagare il corpo che si comporta come un registratore vivente, per ritrovare gli indizi del passato e lasciare emergere tracce che ricostruiscano il passato del futuro.

Questo sono per me in definitiva le memorie…“Tracce di me, lasciate un tempo che, come impronte indelebili, si fanno strada attraverso i sensi e le mie percezioni e riaffiorando, mi riconducono al cuore delle mie origini e del mio destino.”

“I explore physical and mental spaces, tracing itineraries of perception between phenomenology and poetry of vision.”

My research – artistic and human – revolves around the concept of space of revealing-action, that labile “boundary” between where we are and where we appear. That of the border and the limit is a theme declined to 360 °, border space as a limit but also as mutation and, since appearing is taking shape from nothing (ad_parére “come to light”), appearance as revelation becomes the only depth possible. In my work I investigate and “carry on” sensitive experiences, in a space of visible presence, letting shadows and lights of being emerge, spaces of the impervious and submerged self where the space of action becomes the place of the unexpected, of the ” possible “, therefore of change. My self-portraits and video performances create narrative and visual paths, combining the word or poetic text together with the photographic image and video; “Micro narrates actions” through which I tell myself, with the presence of my body and its movements. Semantic field of investigation – The body as a border – but also – the body as mutation – (mute action), place of recollection and silence, zero point of every beginning, the body is the temple that contains present and past, hides clues and anticipation of the future, preserves individual and collective memories that intertwine or break. In search of a balance point and a precarious center of gravity, I push beyond the incessant search for possible transformations, mutations always in the balance between body language and verbal language, rendered in the form of personal confessions – interior monologues photos – and that, re – emerge from memories as traces of memories of parts of me stifled, left, forgotten. In fact, in my work, I often face the theme of the loss of self and of the rebirth that follows, by relating different themes: that of the double – as a further stage of consciousness and knowledge of oneself – and of form, in communication between whole and its parts, in its possible invo – and evolutions.

Research and experimentation activities

Since 2009 I started a work of experimentation through the contamination of expressive languages ​​(photography – video – poetry) embracing that genre halfway between video art, poetry and cinema called: Video Poetry or Cin (E) -Poetry. Often in my interventions there is a rereading of personal or archival texts interpreted according to the technique of free creative flow. The poetics develops in compositions of “fragments” expressed in the form of interior monologues, hybridization between the word and the image or “photo interior monologues”, with the intent of formulating through the statement, “the image – manifesto” of one’s personal vision. I love defining myself as a “video performer”, because the work with the video is realized through extemporaneous “body – actions”, which draw on a personal and codified gestural repertoire, staged precisely as a set of “Acts” (physical and poetic) which have the characteristic of true rituals. Ritual and ritual as a continuous rewriting of the body and the soul, “silent alphabets” to describe the incessant transformations of being in becoming. The pain of the lacerating tear that entails every ineluctable loss or mutilation becomes for the artist, in the artistic practice (photo interior monologue) as in life, incarnation of “voice” – “onomatopoeia”. The expressive strands of the artist’s artistic and human research are: “The mutation” from the extended meaning of transformation / metamorphosis, as a physical and spiritual phenomenon – mediated by a poetic and evocative language that recalls silence and meditation which is “mute action” “; Another cornerstone of his poetics, “the border” understood as a point of fracture, push, necessary pull and tension to the knowledge and to the overcoming of those limits that every evolutionary stage entails; “Memories”, understood as the substratum of every being and lived, together with signs, traces and clues imprinted as indelible marks of the spirit that emerge in the body. each shot, poetry or performance are conceived as fragments of themselves and their own history, “micro narrates actions” as the artist defines them and, just like a haiku composition, they return evocative texts and images, which are flashes of light and shadow. intuitions. reverbs.

Reconstructing the past of the future

My research is an incessant dialogue between past and future, between there I was to become the me that I am now. I use the photographic medium and the video to investigate the body that behaves like a living recorder, to find the clues of the past and let traces emerge that reconstruct the past of the future.

This is for me the memories … “traces of me left a long time, as indelible imprints make their way through the senses and my perceptions and resurface lead me back to the heart of my origins and my destiny.”
